Nutrition For My Nutrition Tracker - For my nutrition tracker I entered in my diet for Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. This works great because I am able to see what my normal diet looks like during a normal weekday as well as the weekend. I also entered in my daily fitness information for these days.

Most of my daily fiber comes from my morning meals which generally consist of eggs, and some form of fruit. So after three days of recording what I eat, I can see that while I do not include a lot of unhealthy foods in my diet, I do not include enough food into my diet period.

According to the aforementioned information my daily intake for protein was about 93 grams, 422 grams per day of carbohydrates and 11.16 grams daily for lipids. In comparison, the recommendations of the dietary reference intake (DRI) for protein is 82-286 grams daily, 367-531 grams daily for carbohydrates and 18.6 grams per day of lipids.

Summary: There are many types of diets, but not all of them are healthy. Diets serve one of two purposes: to eat healthy, such as an athlete training for competition; and to lose weight. Some people go on diets to lose weight when they are not obese at all; this can lead to loss not only of weight.

This assignment gave me an overview of my eating habits as a whole. Having to put everything on paper enabled me to acknowledge a change was needed and where the change was needed. Prior to composing a healthy eating plan, I was never equipped with the knowledge to know there were nutrients missing from my daily diet.

My level of calcium is 898.52 and I could tke in some more milk in my diet to get the recommended intake level. IRON We need Iron to carry oxygen on hemoglobin in blood and in myoglobin that holds and stores oxygen in the muscles. My Iron level is in the normal range for the daily intake level.
